It has always been easy to check the voltage of a battery , but much more difficult to ascertain the remaining capacity as a percentage . Similar to the fuel gauge on a car , this simple unit makes it easy . Gary

I have a liFePO4 battery and the meter was set up for this battery. It is set for voltage and is working very well. Initially I read through the instructions to set it up and it does appear straight forward.
Easy to install, make a template to ensure you keep to the size required for the mounting hole. It is a small unit which is convenient if you have limited area to deploy it. It may be too small if it has to be located in an area which is not close to a readable position, e.g. back of electrical cupboard. I mounted mine where it is always on display and easily reached to press the display button.

Easy to install and set up. Visual display is easy to read. My only complaint is that shortly after the battery receives a charge the monitor shows 100%. Remove the charge and it drops back down to the batteries true state of charge. Having solar panels permantly attached to the car, during the day it always shows the batteries being full charged but when the sun sets you then get a true reading and the battery can actually be nearly flat.

I have an iTech 120AH Lithium battery, but it's in a KickAss battery box meant for AGM batteries so the monitor wasn't accurate. I replaced their bat monitor with iTechs and it seems more accurate at this stage but I haven't been on a trip since it was installed, however I have faith that the monitor will work, just not sure on my soldering.

Perfect product. I had been searching for a simple voltmeter gauge. The itech world gauge was nicely priced and simple to install. With the ability to show volts as well as percentage should never worry about the aux battery in the cruiser going flat, hence keeping the cans cold

I have my meter on my second lithium battery in a battery box behind the rear passenger seat which is charged through from the alternator and a solar panel on the roof of the car and going through a Redac BCDC charger
which keeps my car fridge and 12v oven going, I know exactly what % my battery is at all the time
