Just installed an Ibis4 aircon and upgraded my inverter to an i tech 3000watt inverter , i have 3x120x Batteries and 1000watts of solar regulated by 2 x 30amp itech regulators. Batteries can be charged up on 240v itech 40amp BC however i have only needed to use my Solar to charge the batteries. With solar it takes about 2 hours to charge them back up from 75% and about 3-5 hours from 45 - 50%. Aircon will run on the batteries for anywhere from 3-10 hours depending on outside ambient temp. We would generally only run it for 1-2 hours to cool the van down before bed and then charge up the next day. Will be adding more to the battery bank in the near future. I can run everything in my 2016 - 21.5 silverline outback and I cant complain.
Absolutely love it
Roger williams automotive and marine R.
Plenty of power to run the extras .
Great inverter Great service Love everything about Itech
3000 watt inverter and two 120x lithium batteries will help with free camping.
Great service and products
Compact & light weight and does as advertised without any issues
The idea of the inverter was to replace the generator that we normally rely on when we go to remote locations. We havent put it to the full test yet,but after initial installation, everything worked fine.Similar to the Lithium battery installation......time will tell...!
So far so good
Awesome product , Haven't yet used it as I am refurbishing my canopy so in the next few weeks we will start the wiring . Cant wait to fire it up with a couple of lithium batteries and a induction cook top stove.
Just had a few days away in the caravan. We had great coffee each morning , hair dried each morning and a little microwaving (don’t use it much but nice that we can). It will also assist with power tools and the Thermomix when in use! We love it, thanks.
Not installed yet but happy with the unit & the service.
Would I be able to run a caravan aircon with this with the right solar and battery set up?
Amazing inverter highly recommend
Love the weight as old one was 25 kg. Thats More chocolate we can carry now.
It is fantastic. Enough power to run the coffee machine, or the stove and tv.
This 3000w inverter is another good ItechWorld product. The remote bypass is great. I use the inverter mainly at the snow fields for powering a 2100w induction cooktop, 750w toaster, 700w microwave, 750w sandwich maker. It hasn't faltered yet and appears that I could probably throw a lot more appliance usage into it simultaneously. Previously I had an earlier 3000w version with a minor power button issue. The unit was returned without any hassles and promptly replaced with a newer version. My experience with their sales team, tech support and store manager encourages me to give ItechWorld 10/10 as a business...and encourages me to continue purchasing their products.
A great unit when I can get it working, Unfortunately my battery box's BMS plus Lithium battery inbuilt BMS and my wiring setup causes confusion and sometimes trips the units fault switch. So, thankfully ItechWorld have an excellent team of tech support who have patiently and tirelessly worked thru this technical issue with me.
Works really well with recent purchase of 2 x 120ah lithium batteries. No longer need to run gen set to do washing or microwave. Even thinking of running extn cable to 240v inlet skt on motorhome, is there any reason this should not be done ?
I haven’t fitted this inverter yet but I am sure it will be very good for what I need Thank you . Merv
Installed in my Paramount van. In combination with 2 x Lithium120 batteries my power problems are solved ! Runs all the AC devices I need to enjoy our time away from the grid.
Fast delivery to Green Head. Had a problem with the unit using it on a battery that did not have the capacity to keep it going. When I wired it up to my caravan that has two of your Lithium 120 batteries the unit had no problem using a jug at 2.4 Kw.! Quite impressed with it !
