This extension cable has larger gauge wire for the longer run with the Anderson connectors at both ends so its as simple as plugging in to your solar kit.

This is a great accessory if you camp in more shaded wooded areas and need the additional length to use with many solar kits.

As an electrical engineer I would recommend NOT to solder any lugs on the cables as solder will melt if the terminal is heated by the current . Only crimp soulderless lugs.
