Frequently asked questions about the iTechworld XT60 to Anderson Cable

What is a double Anderson plug and how does it work?

A double Anderson plug splits a single 12V output into two Anderson connections, giving you the ability to run more than one device from the same power source. This adapter takes power from the XT60 plug on your power station and distributes it safely. Power multiple accessories, without the messy wiring.

Can I use both outputs at the same time?

Yes, you can use both Anderson outputs together. Just keep the total current draw within the 25A limit of the adapter and your power station. As long as the combined load stays within that range, the double Anderson plug will supply power to both devices at the same time.

Are double Anderson plugs suitable for outdoor use?

Absolutely. The double Anderson plug is a great bet for camping, 4WD and off-grid setups because these connectors handle vibration and regular outdoor use. All you have to do is keep connections clean and protect them from any water where possible.

How do I ensure safe operation with my devices?

Make sure the total power draw of your linked devices does not go over the rated output of the adapter or the supply from the XT60 plug. Check cables and connectors for damage before use, and make sure your plugs are always firmly seated. Following these basics will keep your setup reliable and safe while out on any adventure.

great cable conection
This XT60 conector is a great addtion to my power bank PS 3600. I can now run other sme applinances up to a total of 25 amps while using the other XT60 cable to conect solar to the extention bateries. Find it very handy with 2 Anderson plugs conectors.
