Introducing the new and improved iTECH120X PRO 120Ah Lithium Deep Cycle Battery with Bluetooth: A lightweight, 100% usable power storage solution with Bluetooth monitoring, IP67 waterproofing, and a 5-year Australian warranty.
The iTECH120X PRO is a true drop-in replacement battery. This means no changing of existing systems, chargers or equipment is required in most cases - unlike other battery types. Simply pull out your old AGM batteries or lead acid batteries and drop in your new, more efficient and lightweight lithium battery.
New Design For Even Better Performance
Among other advantages, the 2025 update includes an all-new, patent-pending prismatic cell type and design. These improved prismatic cells offer more vibration resistance and stability for big bumps with vibration-dampening technology, making it suitable for under-bonnet applications.
It also features a supercharged battery management system (BMS) allowing for less cell degradation, and a longer lifespan with high current use. This system will auto cell-balance and squeeze every ounce of quality performance from the deep cycle battery.
IP67 Waterproof Rating For Rugged Durability
Built to have a long lifespan even in tough Australian conditions, the iTECH120X PRO is IP67 Waterproof rated. These batteries can be submerged under one (1) metre of water for up to 30 minutes - perfect for marine applications or outside caravan storage boxes.

1. Can I charge the lithium battery and use it at the same time?
Yes, you can charge and discharge simultaneously with an iTechworld lithium battery. This gives you reliable power whenever you need it, not only when the battery unit is fully charged.
2. How do I connect my Bluetooth to my lithium battery?
The iTECH120X PRO has an internal battery monitoring system with Bluetooth, and is compatible with the iTechConnect Battery Management App. Once the app is downloaded on your portable devices, you can connect to the battery's Bluetooth easily.
The app gives you the ability to access real time key information on the current status of your lithium battery including voltage, current capacity and temperature.

3. Can I use my iTechworld lithium ion battery under the bonnet?
Absolutely, but we recommend wrapping your deep cycle battery in a quality heat shield for added protection.
Our lithium ion batteries are designed to withstand harsh conditions, including vibrations and a wide temperature range, making them suitable for under-bonnet use. However, the heat shield will help insulate your lithium batteries for even greater reliability on the road.
The only time you should not mount under the bonnet is if the battery is going to be situated close to the vehicle’s turbo, or if the battery you are using is not waterproof (as may be the case with other types of lithium batteries).
4. Can I mount the iTECH120X PRO on its side?
Yes, these lithium units can be mounted on their side for various applications. However, our iTECH120X Pro lithium batteries should not be mounted upside down.
5. How do I store my iTechworld 12v 120Ah lithium battery?
- Charge to a resting voltage of 13.2 - 13.5v.
- Store in a cool, dry environment away from any moisture or humidity.
- Check the voltage (State of Charge or ‘SOC’) every 3 months. Top up the battery if required.
- Do not store the battery in direct sunlight.
Storing at around 70% of battery capacity charge will maintain its health and longevity. With iTechworld’s high-spec integrated Battery Management System (BMS), you can easily manage the charge cycles, ensuring the battery maintains voltage over time.
6. How long will a 120Ah lithium battery last before it needs recharging?
The timing depends on the energy load. If running a 12V camping fridge, it will run for up to 150 hours depending on the fridge's efficiency and power consumption (typically around 0.8 - 2.0 amps per hour).
If the battery has no load, it can hold its voltage for an impressive length of time. All iTechworld lithium batteries have a low self-discharge rate, usually around 2-3% per month, losing minimal charge when not in use. This makes lithium batteries suitable for backup power storage as well as in a range of camping situations.
7. What appliances and equipment can it run?

When operating a 240v appliance (such as a pod coffee machine) via an inverter the machine will typically draw around 1100 watts, but its usage duration is short - generally lasting between 30 seconds to 2 minutes per use. Due to this short operational period the overall energy consumption is minimal, placing less strain on the batteries.
By contrast, continuous-use devices such as a 12V camping fridge operate 24 hours daily and draw a steady current of 0.8 - 2 amps. This constant energy load significantly depletes the battery's capacity over time. Even though a coffee machine has an initial high power draw, its intermittent use does not use as much power as a 12v camping fridge's continuous draw.
8. Will a 120Ah battery run a 2000W inverter?
Yes. The advanced BMS in the iTECH120X PRO 120ah battery enables a single unit to efficiently operate large inverters, including those with a capacity of up to 2000 watts. These batteries can handle high discharge rates to power everything you need.
Lithium ion batteries work better for this than lead acid batteries, because you can use the entire amount of power stored, offering high energy density when you're going off grid. You can also see exactly where your unit is in its cycle life by using the app.
9. What size solar panel will charge a 120Ah battery?
A solar panel or solar blanket setup of at least 200 Watts is recommended. A 200-watt Solar Blanket will produce approximately ten amps an hour, taking twelve hours to charge the iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth from flat to full.
However, using a 300W Solar Blanket will produce around 15 amps per hour. This will take only 8 hours to charge your deep cycle lithium batteries from flat to full.

10. What type of charger is best for a 12v 120ah unit?
With an advanced BMS enabling the battery to accept a high charge current, a 40 amp DC-DC or AC charger will provide efficient and safe charging from your vehicle's alternator while driving. Or, you can charge from 240v mains power at home.
A 40 amp charger allows charging from flat to complete in just three hours. If the battery had 50% capacity available, charging would take just one and a half (1.5) hours.

11. What is a 12v 120Ah lithium battery equivalent to?
Compared to traditional lead acid batteries:
- Battery Cycle Life: The iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth can achieve more than 4000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge (DoD). This is significantly more than lead acid batteries, which typically last 500-800 cycles. Once the cycle is complete, it is one full discharge and then 1 full recharge.
- Discharge: Features 100% usable capacity, whereas lead acid batteries only provide about 50% usable energy before requiring recharging. One iTECH120X PRO can replace two 120Ah traditional lead acid batteries, and still achieve the same usable energy output.
- Weight: The iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth weighs only 12.5 kg, significantly less weight than an equivalent AGM battery (which can weigh in excess of 30 kg).
