CHARGING AND SOLAR

As part of the standard kit, we offer multiple charging solutions:

The iTECHBC40 is powered by a 240V source and it is great when you can plug it into a mains power source and let it charge your kit up.
Thanks to its dual input solar or alternator capabilities, the iTECHDCDC40 is perfect for charging while you’re on the road or parked up off-grid with some solar panels.
You can also select the addition of two optional 150W solar panels and mounting brackets. To ensure you’re always at full, you can use the solar priority function on your DCDC charger to save fuel and just utilise solar power.

THE BATTERY

At the heart of this caravan kit is the iTECH240X PRO, a 240Ah lithium deep-cycle battery designed and developed in Australia. Its IP67 water and dustproof rating ensures it is sealed from intrusion. Thanks to an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) and new prismatic cell technology, this unit features a 100% usable capacity, unlike old AGM and other lead-acid batteries!

OTHER ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS

This kit includes everything you’ll need to get your caravan system up and running. That means you’ll also get one of our 2000W PRO inverters with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and Residual Current Device (RCD) (which allows you to convert your 12V power into safe and reliable 240V power) – additionally, to monitor and control your new system, the kit also comes with our BM500 battery monitor and RC3 remote control. A thick inverter cable and a suitable fuse are also supplied, so you have peace of mind that your kit is complete.
