Inverter Generators vs Conventional Generators
The main difference between an inverter generator and a conventional generator relates to how they produce and regulate electricity, but each has their own use cases which we’ll discuss below.
Inverter generators
- Clean, consistent energy: inverter generators produce clean, stable electricity that is more suitable for sensitive electronic devices like laptops, and mobile phones. This is because the inverter converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC) and then back to pure sine wave AC which has a consistent voltage.

The variable engine speed makes them far more fuel efficient than traditional generators. Conventional generators
