July at iTechworld has been non-stop and packed full of exciting product launches and fresh content to fuel your next trip. From the latest adventure-ready gear to our all-new merch line, let’s check out what’s been happening this month!
New Products:
As part of our July launches, we’re proud to show off some of the newest additions to the Redback range. These are our most portable generators to date, but don’t worry, they still pack a punch when it comes to power. Just like everything at iTechworld, we’ve tested these in real-world Aussie conditions, so you can be sure they’ll keep you going wherever the road takes you.
The Redback RB6.5 is built to support larger setups and energy-hungry gear without breaking a sweat, all thanks to the 6.5kWh of usable capacity. Power off-grid cabins, workshops, or even backup systems at home. Whatever your power needs, the RB6.5 is all about dependable, long-lasting energy on the go.
Looking for something a bit smaller-scale and space-conscious? The RB2 is packed full of the same pure sine wave performance, just in a more compact format. 2kWh of usable capacity makes it a great buy for lighter power needs. Think mobile setups, small sheds, or a little extra supplementary storage. And because they’re part of the same Redback range you know and love, they come with everything you’d expect: patented noise-reducing mufflers, quick starts and advanced safety protections.
Up next is an exciting newcomer to our solar range: the 200W Solar Mat! Constructed from ballistic nylon and A-grade monocrystalline solar cells, just like our solar blankets, this mat can fold down to the size of just one panel. Add to that an IP64 rating to keep you protected from dirt and moisture, and you can see that this is a serious bit of kit. All you have to do is use the hanging tabs to hook it across your awning or drape it along the windshield just like a sunshade.
That’s not all, though. Here at iTechworld, we’ve been busy in the solar R&D department as well. Alongside our new 200W Solar Mat, we couldn’t be more excited to introduce our new 170W and 250W Hard Frame Solar Panel ranges. Check out a wide range of options, including shorter lengths, various voltages, and multiple thickness options. Part of our new offerings are the 6mm thin 170W panels; some of the thinnest solar panels you’ll find anywhere on the market.
Rounding off our brand-new product launches for July, we have the Power Station Fast Charger. Last, but certainly not least, the PS Fast Charger is a plug-and-play 500W charger made to get your power stations back up to full capacity in no time.
This is thanks to a 48V output and easy compatibility with your smart and standard alternators. What this means for you; charge your power stations while driving, 5x faster than your regular old cigarette socket charger! With the specifically designed wiring kit, you’ll find installation a breeze.
Yes, it’s real. iTechworld merch is officially here! From headwear and stickers to keyrings, stubbies and more, the new iTechworld merch line lets you fly the flag wherever your setup takes you: clean designs, durable materials, and all the attention to detail you’d expect from the power experts.
New Content:
As always, July has been a busy month in terms of content. We’ve been hard at work pumping new content into the ever-growing iTechworld YouTube lineup!
First up is our Off Grid with Emma George, the series where we learn all the ins and outs of camping from seasoned adventurer Emma George. With over 20 years of experience criss-crossing Australia’s most remote and beautiful landscapes, both on her own and with family, Emma knows how to make the most out of an all-Aussie roadtrip.
In this episode she teaches us how she preps and powers her induction cooktop for easy meals made off-grid: and that’s with the PS2000 Power Station (being topped up by a 300W Solar Blanket). The video takes a look at how campfire cooking is changing; you won’t be seeing many gas bottles or dangerous flames when you’ve got restaurant-ready meals courtesy of your state-of-the-art power setup.
Next up is Watt the Tech! with Richard Nicholls; your go-to series for clear, practical insights into anything and everything iTechworld. With years of hands-on technical knowledge and a knack for simplifying concepts, Richard covers all the complexities of our gear. This episode sees Richard break down three popular 12V power options: dual battery systems, battery boxes, and portable power stations.
Expect to find out how each system works, what its strengths and limitations are, as well as which scenarios they’re best suited for. Whether you’re focused on a heavy-duty vehicle setup with a dual battery system, need the flexibility and portability of a battery box, or want an all-in-one power station for camp or backup use, these practical comparisons are sure to steer you in the right direction.
Finally, As We Wander takes us through a straightforward, hands-on rooftop solar installation on their caravan. This is a real-world example of how to integrate iTechworld’s 150W hard-frame solar panel into a touring setup, all filmed from a camper’s point of view to help get you on your way.
You’ll see exactly how the brackets are attached, the roof surface is prepped and sealed, and the connection between wiring and charging systems is secured. Each step: cleaning the roof, affixing the mounts, sealing, routing cables through an entry gland, and hooking into the solar controller, is shown in full without any shortcuts.
Our resident media man and content creator, Lockie, has been the force behind much of our digital channel output lately. From producing new episodes and short-form clips to filming live events and trade shows, he’s been capturing the iTechworld story from every angle.
As always, stay tuned for another update next month; we can't wait to share all the exciting adventure-ready things we get up to in August.
