Our Raptor Skin is a UV-resistant, self-cleaning ETFE laminate specifically selected for toughness and outdoor durability.

The incredibly smooth and hydrophobic surface of Raptor Skin provides a combination that reduces adhesion of dust, pollen, salt spray and other particulates, so ordinary rain, dew or a light rinse causes contaminants to bead up and wash away rather than sticking to the surface.

Yes. The blanket is optimised to perform across the light spectrum, and the product copy explicitly calls out improved efficiency in full sun, low light and shade.

The Raptor Skin blankets are fitted with copper backing connectors and heavy cabling as standard; in short, it ensures low-loss plug-and-play connections between the blanket, controller and battery for reliable charging.

The built-in fold-out stand positions the blanket at an optimal angle to the sun so you can harvest more energy throughout the day without continually repositioning it on the ground.

The blanket is rated for a wide operating temperature window (−40°C ~ 85°C), so the materials and electronics are tested for both very cold and very hot conditions. While the blanket is engineered for these extremes, the manual also instructs that the blanket and controller be used in a ventilated area and kept away from corrosive liquids.

The anti-reflective laminate reduces the amount of incident light lost to reflection, allowing the monocrystalline cells to absorb more of the sun’s spectrum.

The 200W Raptor Skin Solar Blanket is designed for camping, 4WD trips, RV, and off-grid use. At 7.8 kg and with a slim, foldable form factor, it's especially well suited to rooftop, tray, tailgate, or ground deployment.

For prolonged coastal deployment, we recommend rinsing salt spray from connectors and following the manual’s connector-care and cleaning guidance to preserve long-term performance.

The outer canvas is 600D ballistic nylon, chosen for abrasion resistance and tear strength; it protects the ETFE-laminated cells from campsite knocks, scuffs and wear during transport, helping the blanket survive rough handling while preserving the cell surface.

The guide instructs that you should avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the blanket in storage. For best long-term results, keep the blanket dry and clean before packing to protect the Raptor Skin surface and connectors.
