I purchased the unit about a year ago and have used the battery and cables for various things but about 2 weeks ago, need to use it for its intended purpose - and worked as expected. Started the LC200 without a problem. Crank battery was over 5 years old.
Great quality product with all the cables you need and a heavy duty carry case that everything fits into nicely. Also has a great torch built in.
Havnt as yet needed to start a vehicle but as I type I am hooked up to it on my IPad and the charge rate is as good as if not better than 240 👍
Tried it running my Engel and went for 12 hours !!! Why have a duel battery in car when this can run fridge and charges bank at same time while driving connected to 12v socket. $299 thank you very much ✅👍
Love this jump starter. It's got me out of trouble with my Prado which is automatic. Had a flat battery across the Nullarbor it came to my rescue! Great for recharging everyone's phones too at Rottnest Island
We did a half loop of Australia in 2018 towing a Jayco Swan Outback with a Toyota Land Cruiser that had a brand new battery fitted.
Long story short, the battery was going flat on a regular basis and we purchased a competitor product to keep us on the road. It was heavy and bulky and cumbersome to handle, also took up a lot of space.
Upgrading to the J80 was a game changer, I am 75 years old and greatly appreciate the light weight of the unit and the ease of handling, storage case etc.
