Overview
The ITW-BC20-24V Intelligent Battery Charger keeps a 24V bank charged and ready from any mains outlet.
Plug it in, select your battery type and leave it to work. This 240V mains-powered charger delivers 20A of regulated charging current at 90% efficiency, suiting 24V banks from 50Ah to 600Ah. Banks between 100Ah and 200Ah are the practical sweet spot for an overnight charge.
It also doubles as a regulated 24V power supply, so your gear can keep running even when the battery isn't there.
Key Features and Benefits
-
Five charging profiles in one charger. Charge LiFePO4, AGM, GEL, Calcium and Standard Lead-Acid banks from the same unit. Each profile runs its own absorption and float voltages instead of one compromise setting stretched across every chemistry.
-
More than a battery charger. Built-in Power Supply Mode outputs a stable, regulated 24V at 20A with no battery connected at all, letting you run compatible 24V appliances directly from mains power while a bank is out for service.
-
Set it and leave it. Intelligent four-stage charging moves through Bulk, Absorption, Float and Maintenance automatically, then holds the bank at maintenance so the charger can stay connected indefinitely without overcharging.

-
Quieter overnight charging. Silent Mode switches the cooling fan off for near-silent running, with output stepping down to 5A while it's active. Ideal when you're charging beside the bed rather than racing the clock.
-
Charging matched to battery temperature. The included temperature sensor adjusts charging voltage to the battery's actual temperature, protecting the cells and extending service life. The charger works correctly whether the sensor is fitted or not.
-
Brings deeply flat batteries back. Charging starts on batteries down to 2V, so a bank that's been left too long isn't automatically a write-off.
-
Fuses you can change yourself. The two 15A output fuses sit externally and swap out in seconds, so a blown fuse doesn't mean sending the unit away.
-
Picks up where you left off. A memory function holds the last profile you selected and resumes it the next time the charger is connected to power.
Installation
Rated IP20, so mount it somewhere dry and protected from the weather. Operating range is -20°C to 45°C and the unit weighs 1.6kg.
Warranty
RCM certified and backed by a 2-year warranty.
