Dual Battery Wiring Kits for a Cleaner Install

If you're setting up a dual battery system in your 4WD, a dual battery wiring kit is going to help take the guesswork out of running power from your cranking battery to your auxiliary lithium battery.

Our Plug and Play 40A DCDC Wiring Kit clips straight onto the iTECHDCDC40 with a three pin Anderson connector. It gives you a generous 6m of 6AWG cable, helping to reduce voltage drop, plus you get a 3m ignition extension. A fuse tap also lets you run the ignition wire without having to splice into your factory wiring, and a 60A midi fuse protects the system at full 40A load. Keep in mind, this kit only suits the iTECHDCDC40.

Anderson Plug Wiring Kits to Power Your Setup

Get a quick, secure connection you can plug in and pull apart whenever you need with an Anderson plug wiring kit. It's a simple way to move power between your battery, charger, solar and portable power station, connecting your whole setup at once.

Our Anderson to Eyelets Wiring Kit 6M 50A has 6m of 6AWG cable from an Anderson connector to pre-crimped eyelets that bolt onto your battery terminals. For your convenience, it includes a 60A midi fuse and suits 12V to 48V installs across dual battery, trailer and camper setups.

Adding solar? This is where you'll want an MC4 to Anderson Adapter Cable 3m to connect either a solar panel or solar blanket. It lets you connect to Anderson inputs without cutting or crimping, so you can park your panels in the sun and keep your battery in the shade, with a 7m 8AWG version to give you more length, if needed.

A full dual battery wiring kit includes the cable, fusing and connectors you need to link your cranking battery to your auxiliary battery through a DCDC charger. Depending on the kit, you may also get a heavy gauge positive and negative cable, an inline fuse, an ignition wire and terminals. Pre-terminated kits will also save you crimping on install.

What is an Anderson plug wiring kit used for?

An Anderson plug wiring kit is designed to give you a quick connect point between your battery and gear, such as chargers, power stations and solar panels. It’s commonly used for dual battery setups, trailer power and caravan or camper systems.

Which 12V wiring kit do I need?

It depends on what you’re connecting and how far the cable needs to run. To get the right setup, match the 12V wiring kit to your charger, power system or solar setup, and also check the length and gauge to suit your install.
