iTECHBC1.5 Intelligent Battery Charger 1.5 Amp 12V

The iTECHBC1.5 1.5A Intelligent Battery Charger is a compact, fully automatic "set and forget" maintenance charger for 6V and 12V batteries. It is purpose-built for the batteries that spend more time sitting than working — the motorbike over winter, the ride-on mower, the classic car under a cover, the jet ski, the caravan in the driveway between trips.

A flat battery in storage is almost always a battery that was never maintained. The iTECHBC1.5 solves that permanently. Its multi-stage charging process brings the battery up to full charge, then holds it there with an automatic maintenance stage, so the charger can remain connected for weeks or months at a time with no risk of overcharging. Plug it in, hook it up, and forget about it until you need the vehicle.

Advanced charging algorithms tailor the charge to the battery in front of them. Dedicated 6V, 12V and LFP (LiFePO4) modes are selectable from a single one-touch MODE button, with a cold-weather mode that adjusts the charge profile when the temperature drops. Clear status LEDs show power, charging state and fault conditions at a glance.

Because the LiFePO4 algorithms are iTechworld's own, the iTECHBC1.5 is also capable of bringing an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode — a genuine recovery feature that most trickle chargers on the market simply cannot perform.

Short circuit protection and over-charging protection are built in, so it's safe to leave connected unattended in a garage or shed. The rear hook lets you hang the unit rather than leave it loose, and both a heavy duty clamp lead and an eyelet/ring-terminal lead are supplied — bolt the eyelets to the battery once, and reconnecting each time takes two seconds.
