The iTECHBM500 is a high-precision battery monitor that captures instantaneous and integrated values in real-time. The iTECHBM500 utilises a 500A current shunt, the iTECHBM500 measures the discharge/ recharge currents and calculates the Ampere-hours (Ah) going in and out of the battery. The monitor provides real-time, high-precision voltage measurements through a field-installed sense wire. It is compatible with Lithium-ion, lead-acid, and nickel-metal hydride batteries.

I’ve recently completed setting up my canopy with 200AH battery and 2000w inverter.
I’m pretty happy with how the monitoring system works and what is displayed.
It makes it very easy to know how the battery and the draw off the battery is going when using the inverter.
Plus it’s clear to see how many watts I’m putting back into the battery when charging.
Overall it’s a very good product.

I have a Ford Transit van kitted out for short overnight trips. I installed a 12v LiFePo battery, solar panel/controller and DC/DC converter to provide enough off-grid power for USB and fridge supply.
Whilst I had a regular voltage indicator wired in with the USB panel, I never really knew if the battery was 75% full, 50% or whatever over duration of actual use.
This is where the iTechBM500 is a game changer for me. Being able to monitor the battery and draw status much more comprehensively will make my trips away from home much more relaxed!
