It looks really cool and fancy but I have not installed it yet cannot wait to mate it up with my itech 3000 watt sine wave inverter now that looks tuff in my canopy sitting on my lowered cruiser ute not being a sheep you get a 4wdrive and every man and his sheep lift them I’m as low as I can go ripped the air bags out oh sorry got carried away I love everything I have bought from itech thanks guys

You need to be accurate when cutting the recess for this to go into, the concave design top and bottom doesn’t leave much room to hide a wobbly cut. As a unit it works well but would be awesome with the addition of Bluetooth

Had to make surface mount to meter for MH internal wall (see pics).
Also had to make adaptor to take smaller cable lug sizes of existing install the shunt terminals are just too big. Have attached pics for you.

Very poor instructions on setting up. After some searching on the net, I found the high voltage has to be set at less than or equal to the float voltage of your charger, otherwise the iTech monitor doesn't work properly.

Unit installed ok, needs a plate style installation ie cut a shape out of a plate of something. In my case it was marine ply.
The LCD screen is not great for viewing at an angle and can be quite blotchy. The setup in not very intuitive.

Love how all the info is all displayed without having to switch views. Not a lot of info in the the instructions on how to set it up. Had to google it and only shows the old version. But once I figured it out, I can't fault it.

Cant show the photos of the shunt as hidden under cover in back of Ute and attached to the 120x Pro as part of dual battery system attached the ITech 65ah cranking battery all great products. Part of caravan/UTE set up all ITech batteries, BCDC charger, shunt and the ITech solar controller on the van

Having a shunt fitted my 24v 240 amp system. It takes out the guessing out of how much amp storage is being used at any time, how much is going in and how much is left.
I wish I had bought two as I have another system.

Only down side was I had a washer make contact with the small circuit board on the back of the shunt causing a short and failure of the unit.
Totally my fault, and screen still operational, but not with the shorted out shunt.
Went to order a replacement, as the website said they are made in Australia, but reply was they don't carry them???? Strange, my only negative......
Anyway, bought another new unit, pictured.

It does its job. I didn’t give it a higher rating for two reasons. I would like to see other mounting options so that you don’t have to cut into everything. Also, instructions were a bit confusing regarding the programming of the unit. Lucky I had a mate with the same one.

A little disappointed in resolution of screen. At the height it's placed at the back of my ute, it's a bit poor to see at head height and looking down. Resolution improves when getting at same level. Small annoyance, but would have expected better regardless of cost as screen tech has come a long way.. I am questioning itech products now re quality as this was my first purchase and was considering a 2000W inverter. Thanks

Very easy to install. I removed the pins from one connector to allow lead through a smaller hole into the caravan boot. I then reinserted pins into connector.
