A 1.5m length provides adequate length for most installations behind driver's seats, in canopies and under bonnet setups. Shorter cable lengths help minimise voltage drop compared with long runs. If significant longer distances are necessary, an increased cable gauge may be needed.

Standard installation tools are required. For example, a torque wrench or socket set to secure the ring-terminals to the Control Hub and battery posts. Crimping tools may be needed if the installer modifies or reuses the ring terminals.

Yes. The 4AWG cable can be extended, but to maintain efficiecny and minimise voltage drop you should use additional 4AWG (or thicker) cable with secure, low-resistant connections and fuse protection. For best performance, extensions should be installed by a qualified professional.

Check that terminations are tight and free from corrosion, insepct the insulation for damage and ensure cable routing is secured against vibration.

4AWG is a thicker gauge cable which measn it has less flexibility compared to higher gauges like 8AWG or 10AWG. While it handles high currents better and reduces voltage drop, it requires more effort to route and install in more compact installs.

Polarity must be ensured by correct colour coding. Red for positive and black for negative.

Yes. The cable is suitable for 12V systems and can be used with lithium, AGM or lead-acid batteries, provided the installer matches insulation, gauge, battery chemistry and fuse protection to the system's requirements.

Using an incompatible Control Hub could lead to inadeqaute cable cross-section for current flow, increased voltage drop, overheating or lack of proper fuse protection.

Route the cable in as direct a path as possible with minimal bends, ensure it's installed away from heat sources or moving parts and place terminations in easily accessible but sheltered locations.
