iTechworlds 20th Birthday Golden Ticket Giveaway T&Cs
iTechworld 20th Birthday Golden Ticket Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is iTech World Pty Ltd (ABN 58 121 044 773) of 291 Great Eastern Highway, Burswood WA 6100 (iTechworld). Enquiries: 1300 483 249 or sales@itechworld.com.au.
1.2 Information on how to enter forms part of these terms. Entering constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Promotional period
2.1 The promotion runs from 12:00am on 1 October 2026 to 11:59pm on 20 October 2026, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AWST).
2.2 Each calendar day in that period is a Promotion Day, running 12:00am to 11:59pm AWST.
2.3 Orders placed before or after the promotional period do not qualify, regardless of when they are dispatched or collected.
3. Who can enter
3.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who are residents of Australia.
3.2 The following are ineligible, and any golden ticket reaching them is void and reselected:
- employees, directors and contractors of iTechworld and its related bodies corporate;
- their immediate family members (spouse, de facto partner, parent, child or sibling, whether or not living in the same household);
- agencies, suppliers and dealers associated with the promotion, and their employees and immediate family.
3.3 A maximum of one prize may be won per person across the promotional period. Where a person is identified as a winner on more than one Promotion Day, they keep the first prize only and the later golden ticket is reselected.
4. How to enter
4.1 Entry is automatic on placing a qualifying order during the promotional period through any of:
- iTechworld's website;
- iTechworld's phone sales team;
- the iTechworld Forrestdale store;
- the iTechworld Burswood store.
4.2 No registration, code or claim form is required. There is no entry fee β the only cost of entry is the price of the goods purchased.
4.3 A qualifying order is a retail order paid in full. The following are not qualifying orders:
- trade, dealer, wholesale or B2B account orders;
- orders placed through a third-party marketplace or reseller;
- gift card or store credit purchases, and any portion of an order paid using a gift card, store credit or loyalty credit;
- warranty replacements, exchanges, repairs and backorder re-ships of an earlier order;
- orders cancelled, refunded, charged back, or not paid in full before dispatch or collection;
- orders placed by a person who is ineligible under clause 3.2.
4.4 Click-and-collect orders are treated as online orders under clause 6. They do not count as in-store sales for the purposes of clause 7.
4.5 Separate orders placed on the same day count separately. iTechworld may treat orders it reasonably believes were split to increase the chance of winning as a single order.
5. The prize
5.1 There are 20 prizes in total, one for each Promotion Day.
5.2 Each prize is a cash payment equal to the amount paid for the winning order, up to a maximum of $2,500 (incl. GST). Where the order value exceeds $2,500, the prize is $2,500 and no further amount is payable. For example, a winning order of $4,000 receives a prize of $2,500.
5.3 Order value means the amount actually paid for the winning order, including GST and delivery, and excluding any amount paid using a gift card, store credit, loyalty credit or by a third party.
5.4 The total prize pool is up to $50,000.
5.5 Prizes are paid by electronic funds transfer to an Australian bank account in the winner's name, within 28 days of the winner's identity and bank details being verified. A prize is not processed as a refund against the original order: the sale stands, and the goods remain the winner's.
5.6 Prizes are not transferable and not exchangeable for goods. iTechworld may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside its control.
5.7 Winners are responsible for their own tax. Where an order was placed by a business, the winner should seek their own advice on any GST or tax consequences.
6. How winners are determined β orders dispatched from a warehouse
6.1 On 16 of the 20 Promotion Days, a golden ticket is placed in one qualifying order dispatched from iTechworld's Queensland or Perth warehouse, or prepared for click-and-collect.
6.2 The order that receives the golden ticket is selected by a random method determined by iTechworld before the Promotion Day begins. The method, the selected order and the date are recorded in writing for each Promotion Day.
6.3 No person involved in packing orders selects which customer receives a golden ticket.
6.4 If the selected order is cancelled, refunded or found to be ineligible before dispatch, the golden ticket is placed in the next eligible order dispatched that day.
6.4a If, on a Promotion Day, the number of qualifying orders dispatched is fewer than the pre-selected position for that day, the golden ticket is placed in the last qualifying order dispatched on that Promotion Day.
6.4b If no qualifying orders are dispatched on a Promotion Day, no golden ticket is placed on that day and the prize is carried to the following Promotion Day, to be awarded in addition to that day's prize.
6.5 A customer does not need to present the golden ticket to claim. Winners are identified from iTechworld's order records.
6.6 Records relating to the promotion are kept for at least 12 months after it ends and made available to a regulator on request.
7. How winners are determined β in store
7.1 On 4 of the 20 Promotion Days, the prize is awarded in store: two days at the Forrestdale store and two days at the Burswood store. Which days are store days is fixed before the promotional period begins and is not disclosed in advance.
7.2 For each store day, a winning sale number is drawn at random before the store opens that day, by a person who does not work in that store, and is recorded in a sealed written record.
7.3 The customer who places the sale matching that number at that store on that day wins the prize.
7.4 Sale order is counted by the time each sale is completed and paid, as recorded in the store's point-of-sale system. Quotes, holds, layby deposits and click-and-collect pick-ups do not count as sales for this purpose.
7.5 If the store does not reach the drawn sale number on that day, the prize moves to the next trading day at that store.
7.6 If a store is closed on a scheduled store day, or the winner drawn is ineligible under clause 3.2, the prize moves to the next trading day at that store.
8. Notification and claiming
8.1 Customers must contact iTechworld by phone upon receiving a golden ticket, using the contact details on the ticket.
8.2 Winners must confirm their identity and provide bank details for payment. iTechworld may withhold a prize until it is reasonably satisfied the claimant is the person who placed the order.
8.3 A prize must be claimed within 3 months of delivery of the winning order. For a prize awarded in store under clause 7, a prize must be claimed within 3 months of the date of sale.
8.4 Before a prize is treated as unclaimed, iTechworld will make every reasonable effort to contact the winner by phone and email using the details on the order, and will keep a record of those attempts. An unclaimed prize may then be reselected, subject to any applicable permit or licence conditions.
8.5 Winner details (first name, initial of surname and state) will be published on the iTechworld website within 14 days of each Promotion Day and will remain published for at least 28 days.
8.6 A parcel that is lost, undelivered or returned to sender does not void a prize. iTechworld will contact the customer using the order details.
9. Returns, cancellations and refunds
9.1 If a winning order is cancelled before dispatch or collection, the prize is void and the golden ticket is reselected.
9.2 If a winner returns goods from a winning order after the prize has been paid, no further refund is payable for those goods. Refunds required under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods are unaffected, and any amount already paid as a prize is credited against such a refund.
9.3 Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Winners retain full warranty and consumer guarantee rights on goods purchased.
10. Privacy and publicity
10.1 Personal information collected is handled in accordance with iTechworld's privacy policy, available at itechworld.com.au, and is used to conduct the promotion, award prizes and publish winner details under clause 8.5.
10.2 Any further use of a winner's name, image, likeness, video or testimonial in iTechworld's marketing requires the winner's separate written consent and is not a condition of receiving a prize.
11. General
11.1 To the extent permitted by law and subject to clause 9.3, iTechworld is not liable for orders or entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or affected by technical failure.
11.2 If the promotion cannot be conducted as planned, iTechworld may vary, suspend or cancel it, subject to any applicable permit or licence conditions and to the direction of the relevant regulator. Where a permit or licence applies, these terms may not be amended after the promotional period begins without written approval from the relevant regulator.
11.3 These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
11.4 These terms are published in full on the iTechworld website
