Overview
A 1-into-2 Anderson Y cable that combines two 50A inputs into one. Most people use it to run two solar blankets or solar panels into a single input on a power station or charge controller — two 100W blankets feeding in together, or a 200W and a 300W running side by side. It also links two iTECH50S lithium batteries in parallel to double your bank.
Parallel wiring keeps voltage the same and adds the current together, so you're increasing amps in, not volts. Two things to check before you plug in: the combined output stays under 50A, and your power station or controller can accept that much solar input. Panels of similar voltage will pair more efficiently than mismatched ones.
Three 50A Anderson connectors, 8AWG cable, 0.25m per leg for 0.5m end to end. Heavy gauge over a short run keeps voltage drop to a minimum. Plug in, no tools, no rewiring.
For parallel connections only — this cable is not wired for series. If you're linking batteries, use identical models at a similar state of charge.
