Overview

The iTechworld 7m MC4 to Anderson Adapter Cable connects any MC4-terminated solar panel or solar blanket to an Anderson-equipped power station, battery box or regulator, with 7 metres of reach.

That length is the whole point. On a caravan or camper trailer, the best patch of sun is rarely where the battery lives. Seven metres lets you chase the sun across a campsite, run a panel out from under the awning, or keep the panel in the open while the gear stays inside — without choosing your parking spot around the cable.

Long runs are where thin cable quietly costs you charge. This lead uses 8AWG conductors, more than double the copper of a standard 12AWG lead, so 7 metres of it drops about as much voltage as 3 metres of the lighter stuff. You get the reach without paying for it in charge current. The conductors are tinned copper rather than bare, which resists corrosion in coastal and humid conditions, and the cable is UV-stable and double-insulated for living outdoors.

Most panels come fitted with MC4 and most 12V camping gear takes an Anderson input, so this bridges the two directly — no adaptors stacked end to end, no cutting, no crimping. Click the MC4 pair onto your panel, plug the Anderson into your device, done.
