The iFROST 40L is the ultimate single zone portable fridge/freezer, designed and developed in Australia for those who demand versatility and reliability. The unit has been developed with a powerful LG compressor, which means near-immediate cooling even in scorching Aussie summers. With a heavy-duty and fully portable design, it offers unrivalled cooling performance, making it the perfect companion for all your adventures.
The iFROST 40L features simple and intuitive digital controls with an auto-locking display to prevent accidents (there are only four buttons—up, down, settings and on). The LCD screen is easy to read and navigate. You can set the temperature anywhere from -22°C to 24°C, meaning you have both a fridge and a freezer, no matter where you are.
With a fully reversible lid, the iFROST 40L has been built with convenience and ease of access in mind, making installation and use from all angles a breeze.
With a high-quality LG compressor, the iFROST 40L is extremely efficient, averaging an industry-leading amp draw of just 0.8A per hour. Acting just like your home fridge, the LG compressor runs until the set temperature is reached; it will then cycle off until required again, ensuring the most energy-efficient cooling.
At just 17kg, the iFROST is remarkably lightweight but constructed for the harshness of the Aussie outback—it can handle bumps, knocks and scratches, whatever you throw at it. The insulated PU foam assists the compressor in consistently maintaining optimal temperatures. Carry handles only add to the ease of use the iFROST offers, allowing you to get it wherever you want, whenever you want.
Every centimetre of the iFROST40L’s space has been maximised, allowing you to fit an impressive 57 cans in the interior compartment. The compartment also includes a wire basket to protect your investment (and help with organisation!). Don’t worry; a built-in bottle opener lets you make more space anytime!
There are three different ways to power your fridge, as follows:
AC Adaptor: When you want to run your fridge/freezer from mains power, plug your 240V AC Adaptor and cable into the fridge!
DC Adaptor: When you want to run the fridge from 12V/24V DC power, plug your 12V/24V adaptor and cable into the appropriate source
Solar: If you have a model utilising the iFROST20Ah internal lithium battery (sold separately), plug an unregulated solar panel (16V-31.5V) into the solar input ports. Ensure the panel provides at least 50W.
For longer adventures, recharge using a power station, dual battery systems, or by connecting to AC/DC power. The iFROST 40L fridge/freezer is THE solution for keeping your food and drink cold (without relying on melting ice) and is sure to be an indispensable part of your travel gear.
