Overview

Get back to full power faster than ever with the iTechworld Power Station Fast Charger, designed to recharge your portable power station directly from your vehicle’s alternator while you drive. Delivering up to 500W of high-speed DC charging, it’s five times faster than a standard 12V cigarette socket, meaning you can charge our 160Ah (2048Wh) PS2000 in just 4 hours. Ideal for road trips, off-grid adventures, or long workdays, it draws power from your vehicle's alternator while in motion, eliminating the need to rely on solar or mains.

Engineered as an easy plug-and-play system, it features a built-in 50A Anderson plug for fast setup across 12V and 24V vehicle alternators, including cars, 4WDs, trucks, and caravans. It’s compatible with all modern iTechworld power stations, excluding the smallest of our range, the PS300. The iTechworld Power Station Fast Charger supports both smart and standard alternators, automatically switching on or off based on your vehicle’s voltage to prevent battery drain; set the alternator type with a switch of a button.

Reviews Summary
Customers say this charger delivers rapid charging to their power stations while driving, with many completing full charges in under two hours. Users appreciate the straightforward installation and reliable 300-500W output from vehicle alternators. The unit automatically shuts off when the car battery drops to 12V, protecting against drain. Some note that output depends on cable quality and distance from the alternator, with occasional lower wattage than expected. Most find it transforms their off-grid setup, significantly reducing reliance on solar panels alone.

    A mighty little unit

I have the itechworld PS1800, combined with this neat little unit, you can't go wrong.

It keeps me topped up on my drives to and from trips away which is perfect haha!

I keep mine behind my rear seats in the D4 under the false floor, it's meant for it!

    Perfect power station charger

This charger is perfect for recharging your power station regardless of branding using the veichles alternator power to generate a massive 500w of input via the XT60 port. Good price point compared to alternates.

    Power Station Fast Charger.

I purchased the Fast Charger to charge my PS2000 while traveling between night stops, so it would be ready for the next day.

As per photos I have the PS2000 running the car fridge during the day and night and the Fast Charger charging the PS2000 when travelling as mentioned.

I did a test when I first got it.

I ran the PS2000 down to 30% then plugged in Fast Charger into the PS2000 and went for an hour drive, on return the PS2000 was at 65%.

I was very impressed with the results.

I have know been using it for a week and both products have worked well I can recommend them.

    The Game Changer

Firstly, many thanks must go to Itechworld for coming up with this little charger. I was a little sceptical when I first saw this advertised recently, but thought what the heck let's try it out. I'm very happy to say it is an absolute game changer to keep my PS2000 charged to 100% whilst driving, although I don't use my canopy power all the time, only whilst out camping or want to use the fridge and coffee machine. It has charged my PS2000 back to 100% by the time I get back home, very impressive performance. It's many times more efficient than relying on my roof mounted fixed Solar panels alone. Even at idle it's putting out over 300W, and turns itself off when i turn the car off to protect the cars battery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this charger for keeping your battery topped up.

    A Great bit of Kit

We were having trouble recharging our PS2000 Power Station in the colder months. So dug deep and bought the Fast Charger, wow, it certainly fills the gap left by the solar panels. I think we're on top of our charging woes now.

    As expected it works

60amp cable from crank battery via an ignition switch relay plugged it in and 500w started pumping in the PS2000.
