We initially purchased the 2000W iTech Portable Power Station some time ago and it has proven itself time and time again. When an opportunity to upgrade our system became apparent, we headed straight to the PS3600 PRO,

We tested her with the power requirements for the bungalow, which consisted of an AC unit, Fridge and lights (LED) and she performed flawlessly. We charged the 3600 with mains power, swapped over to solar panels and she did what she does best, provide ample power with room to move

Currently in the process of installing her in the back of the 4wd to run our camp setup. Overkill without a shadow of doubt, however, we would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. The other major factor in purchasing this unit, as well as the 2000W System is that they are a totally portable system compared to previously installed DCDC Chargers Inverters Panels etc etc.

Should we upgrade our 4wd, cool, pickup up the 3600 system and place it in the new car, Done n Dusted

The other exciting aspect of this beast is that we can purchase expansion batteries and increase storage capacity and potentially go off grid. We will experiment with this one when we return from our gallop around Australia

I purchased the PS3600 Pro mainly for its UPS functionality. It certainly looks the part, well engineered and laid out, making it easy to use right out of the box. It’s heavy, but that makes if feel high quality and reliable. Watching microwave ovens, kettles and induction plates effortlessly run is very pleasing.

I have also purchased one EB3840 expansion battery to increase capacity. Together these units are truely brutes to look at but easy to use. Switching on the PS 3600 also turns on the EB3848 battery, nice touch. Everyone who sees them is impressed. Nice one iTechWorld!

We did a 1/2 lap of Australia using the 2000w powerstation. Absolutely brilliant for off grid 240 volt cooking and running the motorhome fridge. Unfortunately it wouldn’t last the day without the 300 watt itech solar blanket. (Also brilliant). During the 1/2 lap I saw they released a bigger 3600 watt powerbank. I spoke to Dave from itech (very helpful) and had the bigger powerbank delivered (for free from WA to Vic). Planning on using it soon on our trip to QLD. With 300 amp/h battery this should be more than sufficient. Thank you itech, great products. (I have the jump starter too)

We lost power for three days. Our cluster of 45 houses with no power was overlooked by the provider. Due to what the meteorologists call a weather bomb or explosive cyclogenesus hitting the West Coast. The PS3600 Pro unit kept a big fridge and big freezer going for over a day and a half plus charging some small appliances. Saved thousands of dollars in food from being wasted. Then we used a petrol inverter generator to quickly recharge it up. The weather was atrocious. Maybe too dark for solar recharging? So maybe having even a small fuel inverter generator to complement the battery power bank is a solution ? We think they are the perfect match. Also the bypass feature of the uninterrupted power supply means as soon as the power cuts out the PS3600Pro takes over.

Tried this unit as my backup for our house ss we have regular brownouts and power cuts. Worked really well and easy to setup for my wife to operate if I’m not at home.

This is a great unit. My only suggestion is that the cover on the rear be built strong or different as when you stand it up to us the handle and wheel it, it is easily damaged and now no longer holds closed.
