Inside Our Forrestdale Open Day 2026

It was wet and a bit windy on Saturday 19 September, but Perth turned up at our Forrestdale Superstore anyway, armed with questions. Some of you even brought diagrams of your setup, which is exactly how you get the right advice. And that was the whole idea. Time with a Power Expert, the gear on the bench and a coffee from the cart, which was pouring from 8:30am.

Your setup, worked through properly

Nobody came in with a textbook question. You came in with your rig in mind. What size battery suits the way you actually camp. Whether your charger and alternator will get along. How to run a fridge and a CPAP off one system and still wake up with power to spare.

The real thing, installed

A product page can only show you so much. So we parked a Super Duty and a Ranger out front, each taking a different approach to a vehicle setup. Snowy River brought a caravan so you could see how it all comes together once it's installed.

Inside, Power Core and Control Hub were wired up and running. Plenty of the morning's best questions started with someone standing in front of one and pointing.

Under load all morning

Batteries out of the box. Power stations running real loads. The slimline range off the shelf and in your hands. The demo wall showed what a setup actually draws, and that tells you more than any spec sheet.

The team took small groups through the power station range and the Redback generators. Sizing, running costs, caravan versus worksite. Most demos turned into an open Q&A within minutes, which is usually where the useful stuff comes out.

Prizes went out on the hour, the coffee kept coming and a bit of wind and rain didn't stop anyone.
