The iTECH160X PRO lithium battery sets a new standard. It has been specifically engineered for those seeking a power solution that can withstand whatever you throw at it.

Designed and developed in Australia, for Australia, the iTECH160X PRO has been constructed to thrive in rough climates and conditions – and thanks to its IP67 water and dust-proof rating, it can be mounted nearly anywhere!

The iTECH160X PRO uses A-grade prismatic lithium LiFePO4 cells, which offer considerable advantages over other cell types. Prismatic cells are thinner in profile, deliver higher discharge, have a longer life expectancy, are much lighter and utilise space more efficiently than traditional cell types.

The advanced lithium technology offers a 100% useable 160Ah capacity, allowing for impressive power storage. Not to mention the minute weight of 16kg, which is comparison to an equivalent AGM battery would be 90kg, saving you and your system important weight.

    Excellent real‑world performance from the iTECH160X‑PRO

    I’ve been running the iTECH160X‑PRO with the Go Further Box in my Hilux SR5, powering an Engel Eclipse MR40F‑G4 38L fridge 24/7. After a full week of real‑world testing, the system has been outstanding.

    - Only 2% SOC drop overnight (about 3.2Ah)

    - Around 4% SOC drop across a full day parked in mild weather

    - Average SOC across the week: ~93%

    - Survived 40°C+ days under a black tonneau cover

    - Peak battery temp: 35.9°C — extremely stable given the heat

    - Realistic endurance: 10–13 days no driving, depending on weather

    - Only 3 cycles logged after a full week of continuous use

    The battery and BMS handled heat, load, and cycling far better than expected. The fridge never missed a beat, and the whole setup has been rock‑solid.

    A step up

    I previously had a 120x Pro that did not include the Bluetooth functionality. The upgrade in capacity together with the Bluetooth and application mean that I can be far more independent and choose when to charge to maximise the battery life.

    160X Pro Experience

    Our choice to update to the 160X Pro was purely on the basis I required additional oomph whilst retaining standard battery box mounting in our van. We've been running the dreaded 120X since 2021 (absolutely no complaints with it personally, it's been brilliant) but our usage has increased (yes the more convenient things become the more we adapt to it), monitoring the output and input just sold us on the battery, so we took advantage of the EFY sale and ordered it.

    Installed into our van, initially it became apparent the Bluetooth monitoring wasn't fantastic, I could totally understand the negative reviews BUT shortly after Itech did an app update (obviously listening to negative feedback) and I have to say it was sooo much better. Immediately after the update the app had some glitches, I contacted Itech (feedback appreciated) followed advice given with benefits, however it's very apparent the glitch has been resolved, our battery, monitoring has been so good.

    As per usual, the Itech customer service experience has been brilliant.

    Note: Waited to post this review until after several months of use so we're providing a factual review. Truly happy, thankyou Itech.

    Excellent iTec 160X Pro Lithium Battery

    Awesome battery. With 170w solar panel, keeps battery topped up easily.

    Using for fridge in car, this Itech 160X Pro has the potential for over 3 days using 2amps p/h without charge.

    Love the Bluetooth function, shows how many cycles it's done, and power used/available.

    Will definitely purchase again, more from iTech when my older lithium batteries get tired..

    Well, I have given it five stars because it arrived on time, was exactly as described and worked faultlessly as you would expect. The weight savings in my camper was substantial, over 40kg as it replaced 2 x T105 six volt golf cart batteries. I am hoping for 10 years or more life. Time will tell and we shall see :-)
