I replaced my starter battery on Toyota Prado. It is about 30mm lower the old one so I have to put rubber on the bottom then it can fit with the terminal. The battery works well so far. Hopefully it will be good in the summer weather. Good price from itechworld as well, thanks

I am always hesitant to write reviews before the products have proved to be a long-term success, however, on this occasion, I am confident that the battery will give me many years of trouble-free service. Some slight modifications were required to hold the battery securely as it was slightly smaller than the factory one. Easy enough to do. So much lighter and easier to handle.

Very happy with the performance of this battery. I put it in a 2013 Ford Ranger. It has heaps of cold cranking amps. Starts the Ranger much faster. I purchased this battery because I was doing short range driving and found that my original battery was slowly losing its cranking power. This battery is recharging very quickly and no more concerns about that at all.

My wife’s Pajero was starting to get a little lazy starting and when last serviced was told the battery was starting to fail.
We seem to be only getting a couple of years out of standard lead acid batteries at around $300-$400 a time so I reckoned a lithium was the way to go.
I have bought lithium’s from you guys for my caravan and couldn’t be happier with how they perform so was a no-brainer.

Once I managed to "lug" the old lead acid battery out, installation of the LiPo battery was a breeze, Very little modification was required to the battery carrier, and now the starter spins the V8 diesel engine over as if there were no compressions! (It starts and runs fine, so it does yave compression!)

Replaced my 26kg 95Ah AGM with this Itechworld 1420CA in my 2001 BMW E53 4.4i V8 and saved 18kg in weight in the rear boot. Itechworld 1420CA was a smaller battery than my AGM, everything just dropped in with no issues and fired up the X5 with no issues with almost double the CCA of my AGM. Great product.

Great battery. Light weight and noticeably better start with the Prado. Maybe better economy but not sure. Only slight negative is the battery terminals are small and the clamps on both +ve and -ve terminals were too big to fit, even when tightened/closed to max.

After having 2 x 120 lithiums in our AOR Q+ and 1 x 120x in the 200 and being REALLY impressed with their performance, it only seemed logical to go for 2 x cranking batteries from ITechworld when they were due. Saving about 20kg is a bonus as well. Being aware of the higher resting voltage of lithium I spoke to Itechworld and the tech boys suggested a Victron Smart Battery Protect. This was due to the DC-DC charger still operating therefore continuing to charge the Auxlliary battery when the engine was stopped. This was easily installed inline and was set up on bluetooth from my phone to cut out at 13.2v and resume operating at 14.2v. Working faultlessly and I'm happy. I also wrapped the batteries in a foil covered 10mm thick foam rubber to reduce the radiant heat from the engine bay. So far temp testing has shown about a 10c deg reduction in heat of the main battery body. Real summer and longer towing drives will be the big test. I also had to make Nylon spacers as the batteries are about 22mm lower than the OEM units and Toyota battery mounts always seem to mount off the body so are not as adjustable as some. Will be interesting to see how long they last....many years I hope!

After getting a recommendation of what battery to use in my Jeep Wrangler I decided on this battery. I have to say starting the Jeep is flawless, starts faster. The voltage is slightly higher than the old yellowtop battery which means that the auxiliary battery and charger is always on. A relay will disconnect the battery charger until the engine is running which will stop the main battery from being discharged. Overall one happy customer.

I have had a two battery system using a smart switch for several years in my 2006 Toyota Workmate utility with lead acid batteries.Just recently the cranking battery failed so I decided to switch to a single Itech lithium one and save more than 50 kilograms in weight and a lot longer life.I had to make a few minor alterations to hold the battery firmly in the box but other than that is was very easy to install.

Hi I cant recommend this battery enough! My wife was doing a lot of very shot trip in her car, averaging around three kilometres . This is very hard on batteries, it does not give the car time to charge the battery back up.
So I decided to get Itec lithium starting battery, your can draw it down more and it charges quickly.
It is just plug and play, with more power for starting, and less than half the weight of the old battery.There is no servicing, maintenance of the new battery.
Now the car starts instantly and no more problems.
Itec world site was easy to order and fast delivery. Five stars a great company to deal with.

I have a camper trailer so that’s where I started with your kit. 2 x 100ah batteries in that - a new 40 amp AC charger that’s not installed yet, and both the 280 and 140W solar blankets. The 140 is to top up the battery I keep in the car to run the fridge when I have it in there. And now the new main car battery. Just installed it today - it took a while to get here with all the Covid bs that’s going on and that we’re all pretty much over now.

Have had as a dual battery setup under bonnet of Hilux and Land cruiser 200 series running engle fridges and kids laptops/ipads etc on camp trips for over a year now and still going 100%.
Never been flat after a day out, unlike normal lead acid & deep cycle batteries had in vehicles before.
Have bought an additional 2 for other vehicle now.
Over a year and have not had to use the 1000 amp jumpers other than jump starting other people now

This is the 4th Lithium battery I have purchased from Itech world but the 1st crank start. This one I installed in our 79 dual cab Toyota Land Cruiser. It’s a bit tight but oh so lite. The engine starts very fast now and no fluid levels to check

Awesome battery. Spins the old LC 100 like never before! However, only time will tell if withstands the rigors of outback tracks and temps. One issue I found annoying is that I was advised by the ITech crew that when powering a DC-DC charger from this battery I would need to fit a Smart Battery Protector, (approx $100) to cut power to the DC-DC Charger at about 13.2V and thus leave ample starting power. That’s understood, but if such a high cutting point is required, I would think that the smart solution would have been to perhaps have a separate ‘Lithium input’ setting on the DC Charger instead of the standard 12.4V?
It would be even more simple if the Battery BMS could be set to do its own cutoff at 13.2V, but I’ve realized that the Standard 12V setting is probably OK for many situations.
Again...time will tell.

Fitted the itech battery in place of the two batteries that the cruiser came with and have just towed my van from Perth, Carnarvon. Gascoyne Junction, Mount Augustus on dirt then the Dooley Downes road to Ashburton Meekatharra road to Tom Price. So far battery working well some of these roads are as rough as and the temperature has been 38deg.

At this time they do what they are supposed to, only been installed for a short time. In our motorhome 4 by 120x house batteries in parallel and 2 by 12v starter batteries in parallel. I do hope all this investment is worth it. Check back with me at a later date.

Fitted to TD42T Patrol, zero voltage drop when glowing and no lead acid can compare in the cranking department. Absolutely kills lead acid for winching, tested it with a single line pull with a Sherpa 17000lb winch, constant pull of 20 meters under load engine at idle, voltage did not drop below 13.8v and winch motor remained cool. Higher voltage = lower amp draw and happy winch, this is just not possible with the higher internal resistance of lead acid.

Only been using this battery for about a month but so far it is very impressive. The car starts really quickly. I did have a minor issue for a couple of days where the battery was charging at really high voltages, over 16 volts which caused the lights to flicker constantly and I was concerned about damage to the computer but that settled down and now stays at a constant 14.1-14.2 volts. This is fitted to an Isuzu Dmax. To be honest I was not happy with the help I got when ringing with my concerns about the high voltages.

Terrific starting power and works well in my 24v starting system. I checked with your tech department regarding my system. All OK. Had a problem with the brass terminal posts in that the new clamps wanted to slide up when tightened. Have you ever been advised of this before?
