I have an iTech DCDC40, BC40, 3000w inverter and control panel mounted in my boat in the bridge deck bedroom. This followed the installation of a 200amp LifePo4 battery, 500w of solar and a full rewire of the house load to that battery. The inverter is bigger than what we need or can use with our battery but we are future proofing the design of our system for a multi battery setup in the future if we need it. I feel running it at 50% capacity is better than stressing out a smaller unit . Really happy with the products. They work well. Tech support is excellent when you have questions and after sales support is a refreshingly pleasant experience handled with professionalism if you have a problem. No more flat starting batteries, no more alcohol stoves. The system effectively manages our cooking needs in the microwave, induction cook top, pod coffee machine, toaster and grille plates, the 3 fridges it runs (one as a permanent freezer), lighting, fresh water pumps and shower sump pumps, electric toilet and macerator etc. We camp on our boat and rarely do we come back to the berth with a need to top up the lithium battery via the AC charger. On one occasion the engine hot side coolant wasn’t circulating through our hot water heater so we switched on the 240v heater element to run through the inverter and still came home with a nearly full battery. No issues running a 2000+ watt kettle and toaster,
Love it! Can’t wait to use it camping and cook on the hot plates!!
However if you’re not planning to use 3000 watts electricity I reccomend 2000 watt or even 1000 because 3000 is literally is huge
