1. Can I charge an iTECH120X PRO lithium battery and use it at the same time?

   Yes, you can charge and discharge simultaneously with an iTechworld lithium battery.

2. How does the Bluetooth monitoring feature work?

   The iTECH120X PRO has an internal battery monitoring system with Bluetooth and is compatible with the iTechConnect Battery Management App. The iTechConnect app allows you to access real-time key information on the current status of your battery, including voltage, current capacity, and temperature.
   
   

3. Can I use my iTechworld lithium storage battery under the bonnet?

   The iTECH120X PRO, can be used under the bonnet, but we recommend wrapping the battery in a heat shield. The battery is designed to withstand harsh conditions, including vibrations and temperature variations, making it suitable for under-bonnet use.
   
   The only time you should not mount the battery under the bonnet is if the battery is going to be situated close to the vehicle’s turbo or if the battery you are using is not waterproof.

4. Can I mount the iTECH120X PRO on its side?

   Yes, iTechworld batteries can be mounted on their side, they cannot be mounted upside down.

5. How do I store my iTechworld lithium storage battery?

   - Charge the battery to a resting voltage of 13.2-13.5v.
   - Store the battery in a dry cool environment away from any moisture or humidity.
   - Check the battery voltage (State of Charge or SOC) every 3 months and top up if required.
   - Do not store the battery in direct sunlight.
   Storing the battery at approx. 70% SOC charge will maintain its health and longevity. As iTechworld integrated a high-spec Battery Management System (BMS) into the battery, it manages the charge and discharge cycles, ensuring the battery maintains voltage over time.

6. How long will a 120Ah lithium battery last before it needs recharging?

   If the iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth has a load such as a 12V camping fridge, it will run for up to 150 hours, depending on the fridge's efficiency and power consumption (typically around 0.8-2 amps per hour). If the battery has no load, it can hold its voltage for an impressive length of time, as all iTechworld lithium batteries have a low self-discharge rate, usually around 2-3% per month, losing minimal charge when not in use.

   The advanced Battery Management System (BMS) allows a single battery to efficiently operate large inverters, such as those with a capacity of up to 2000 watts.
   
   When operating a 240v appliance such as a pod coffee machine via an inverter, it's important to note that while the machine typically draws around 1100 watts, its usage duration is short, generally lasting between 30 seconds to 2 minutes per use. Due to this short operational period, the overall energy consumption is minimal, placing less strain on the iTECH120X PRO battery.
   
   In contrast, continuous-use devices such as a 12V camping fridge operate 24 hours daily, drawing a steady current of 0.8 - 2 amps. This constant load significantly depletes the battery's capacity over time. Even though a coffee machine has an initial high power draw, its intermittent use does not use as much power as a 12v camping fridge's continuous draw.

8. What size solar panels will charge a 120Ah battery?

   A solar panel/blanket setup of at least 200 Watts is recommended. A 200-watt Solar Blanket will produce approximately ten amps an hour, taking twelve hours to charge the iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth from flat to full. Using a 300-watt Solar Blanket will produce approximately 15 amps an hour and will take 8 hours to charge the battery from flat to full.

9. What size battery charger is best for a 120Ah lithium battery?

   As the iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth battery has an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) that can enable the battery to accept a high charge current, utilising a 40 amp DC-DC or AC charger will provide efficient and safe charging from your vehicle's alternator while driving or from 240v mains power, ensuring the optimal charge times. A 40-amp charger allows this battery to be charged from flat to complete in just three hours. If the battery had 50% capacity available, charging would take just one and a half hours.

10. What is a 120Ah lithium battery equivalent to?

    Compared to lead-acid batteries:
    
    - Lifecycle: The iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth can achieve more than 4000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge (DoD), significantly more than lead-acid batteries, which typically last 500-800 cycles. Once the cycle is complete, it is one full discharge and then 1 full recharge.
    
    - Discharge: This battery offers 100% usable capacity, whereas lead-acid batteries only provide about 50% usable capacity before requiring recharging. One iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth can replace two 120-ah lead-acid batteries and still achieve the same usable capacity.
    
    - Weight: The iTECH120X PRO with Bluetooth weighs only 12.5kg, much lighter than an equivalent AGM battery that can weigh over 30kg.
