Pull up at camp, flick the aircon on and put the coffee machine on to brew. The PS2800 PRO has the grunt to run the gear you actually use, not just keep a phone topped up.
It brings serious storage, a high-output inverter and flexible charging into one self-contained unit, so you get proper power off-grid without wiring an entire system into the van. It is built for the practical stuff: running camp appliances well beyond a phone charger, working remotely, keeping home essentials on through a blackout, or taking real power into the bush.
It sits in the gap between a basic power bank and a permanent off-grid install. Big enough to run real appliances, simple enough to carry out and set up in minutes.
The short version
- 2800W pure sine wave output runs caravan aircon, coffee machines and induction cooktops.
- 2160Wh LiFePO4 battery keeps a 12V fridge going for roughly 9 days.
- Full recharge from 240V mains in as little as 1.5 hours, plus solar and vehicle charging.
- Bluetooth control through the iTechworld Connect App, with a 5" display on the unit.
- Add up to four expansion batteries to grow storage to 10,800Wh.
Power enough to run the real gear
Most portable units tap out before the appliances that matter. The PS2800 PRO delivers 2800W of pure sine wave power with a 5600W surge, so it starts and runs high-draw gear that smaller stations cannot handle comfortably.
Think air conditioners, coffee machines, induction cooktops and other heavy-draw appliances. The output is clean and stable at 240V, which keeps sensitive electronics safe alongside the everyday stuff.
Three 15A AC outlets let you run more than one thing at once, so the morning brew, the toastie press and the fridge can all go together instead of taking turns. Two 140W USB-C outputs fast-charge laptops, tablets and camera gear, and there are DC options for the rest.
This is the difference between just keeping devices topped up and having a genuinely usable power setup. At camp it handles the morning coffee, the food prep and the charging from one central unit. In the ute or a remote workspace it keeps power tools, comms gear and computing equipment powered straight from the one unit.
Storage that lasts the trip
Inside is a 2160Wh LiFePO4 battery (180Ah at 12V). That is enough to run your fridge for around 9 days, or keep lights, a CPAP machine, laptops, Starlink and phones going together depending on the load. Days off-grid on a single charge, not hours.
Capacity is only half the story. The battery uses A-grade LiFePO4 cells, chosen for their safety and thermal stability, and it is rated for more than 4,000 cycles. That is up to 10 years of daily use.
If you spend regular time off-grid, cycle life is the number that matters. A power station should not feel like a one-season buy. It should be gear you lean on trip after trip, workday after workday, and through years of charging at home. There is also a built-in lantern for setting up after dark or digging through the back of the ute.

See your power at a glance
No opening compartments, no guessing how much runtime is left. Bluetooth connects the PS2800 PRO to the iTechworld Connect App, so you can check battery health, charge level and system performance in real time, and manage ports and charging thresholds without touching the unit. Handy when it is packed into a vehicle or tucked out of the way.
Prefer to read it off the unit? The large 5" LED display shows the critical info at a glance:
- Battery charge level
- Current input wattage
- Output wattage
- Estimated remaining runtime
- General operating status
You get the reading in front of you at the unit, and the flexibility to manage it from your phone when it is out of reach.
Charge it however you travel
A power station is only as good as its charging options. The PS2800 PRO recharges from mains, solar or your vehicle, so the setup suits where you are and how you travel.
Fast 240V mains charging
Plug into 240V at home or a powered site and the 1800W input takes it from flat to full in as little as 1.5 hours. For a 2160Wh unit that speed changes how it fits into daily life. Recharge between jobs, top up before a weekend away, or restore backup capacity fast after an outage.
Dual MPPT solar charging
For off-grid charging it has two independent MPPT controllers and dual XT90 inputs, taking up to 600W each for a potential 1200W when set up right.
The inputs accept 11.5V to 55V directly, so you can connect panels of different voltages without an external regulator. Two independent inputs also give you room to move when panel layouts, available sun or your portable gear do not line up perfectly. Run your essentials off the battery through the day, let the sun top it back up, and stay out longer on your own power.
Vehicle charging while you drive
It charges from your vehicle too, which is handy for touring, work vehicles and anyone moving between sites. The included car charger is the straightforward option, or step up to the iTechworld fast charger for up to five times the speed of a normal cigarette socket. Arrive at camp with more in the tank than you left with, turning drive time into recharge time.
Backup power for home too
Portable power is not only for the outdoors. The PS2800 PRO doubles as a UPS. With pass-through charging your gear keeps running off the mains, and if the power drops it switches to battery in under 10 milliseconds.
That makes it a practical backup for essentials like the internet, laptops and lighting. How much it will cover comes down to the draw and sensitivity of what you plug in, but the core benefit is simple: the power station is already there, charged and ready to take over. It is an easy way to add resilience at home without committing to a fixed backup install. Keep it on mains, connect what matters, and have stored power ready when conditions change.
Grow it when you need more
For bigger energy needs the PS2800 PRO grows with you. Connect up to four EB2160 Expansion Batteries (sold separately, coming soon) to reach 10,800Wh, or 900Ah at 12V. That is a serious jump in usable energy for longer off-grid stays, extended field work or bigger home backup.
The expandable approach means you do not have to overbuild on day one. Start with the 2160Wh unit, then add capacity as your trips, gear list or backup needs grow.
Protected as standard
High power needs proper protection. The PS2800 PRO carries full battery protection covering:
- Over-charge protection
- Over-discharge protection
- Over-current protection
- Over-load protection
- Short-circuit protection
- Over-temperature protection
These are standard across the iTechworld Power Station range, protecting the battery, the unit and your connected gear during demanding use. Combined with stable LiFePO4 chemistry and pure sine wave output, that is what makes it built for serious use rather than the odd weekend.
Who it suits
The PS2800 PRO is for people who want capable portable power without piecing together a battery, inverter, charger and solar controller from separate parts. It is a strong fit for:
- Off-grid camping and touring: Run your appliances, lights and devices from one power source.
- Remote work and mobile creators: Charge laptops, drones and cameras away from mains.
- Home blackout backup: Keep essentials running when the power drops.
- Caravan and 4WD: Recharge from the alternator as you drive.
- Growing energy needs: Add expansion batteries when you need more capacity.
