I bought this 280watt blanket for a friend as I was so impressed with my iTech World 140watt units. As he runs 2 fridges in his vehicle, one for drinks/food and the other as a freezer the extra capacity is appreciated. He also like the fact that he can run the unregulated solar directly to his Redarc BC-DC controller which handles the regulating. He's really impressed!
I live on Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Only part of the service that wasn't up to scratch was getting someone to answer the phone. Tried for hours & put on hold. Eventually got through & service was great.
Your store people were very helpful in allowing us to upgrade. Very happy with product and prompt delivery
Placed the 280Watta on front windscreen of cyclo-octane, less than two hours both batts connected in parallel were nearly fully charged. Unbelievable!! Thanks itech!!
Used it just recently in Dwellingup, worked great had no issues. Had an 80l engel and 8 led lights running for 3 nights, recommend getting the extension lead as that really came in handy as the sun moved
Awesome. A whole lot of power in a easy to carry and use package.
I've out 2 of these in parallel and am receiving around 15 amps into my DCDC charger. Expected a bit more, but they are still doing their job. Nice and lightweight, but a bit difficult to stand up in the wind. Still looking at best options to secure them in place.
Kept battery charged and two fridges (65ltr @ 35ltr ) running while parked up at camp for a few days with temperatures high 30s to 40 degrees.
Great product, excellent help in store.
Great products and even more, great prices
Happy with product had it for less than a month not used it though as still waiting for my Toyota Land-cruiser to be prepared. Disappointed though to find out they have it on a 20% discount and have not been contacted to offer a refund. Feel somewhat hard done by.
I have been purchasing from itech for many years would recommend them with out hesitation have totally to lithium -car boat and caravan Performance weight great combination when teamed up to sola R and inverters ross
We have always used a 200w folding ally solar panel set with my CTEC DC charging system, I'm getting older and the panels are getting heaver to more around, with the blanket I've halved the weight and increased my power system 80w, Win all round and a Perfect fit with the 3 ITech 120X batteries we fitted to our Caravan!

We found the instructions a bit hard to follow. Thought there should be more about what settings you should have, that is a more how to and what settings to expect
Very happy , the 280w panel was connected to my van for 8 days and the batteries never dropped below 13.2v And provided sun protection for my ute
Easy too use and set up. Works a treat
I have used the 280 watt blanket three time now. I was so happy how it charged my two AGM batteries on my camper and one AGM battery in my 4x4, that I ended up buying a 120x lithium battery, a dc-dc charger and a ten meter lead. The blanket charges the lithium battery really well. Controller that came with the blanket works well, as do the five meter lead and the short lead with battery terminals. I use b01 for the AGM batteries and b04 for the lithium battery until I connected the dc-dc charger.
Great product and service. Easy to use to charge my caravan batteries.
Love the 280watt solar blanket. Works just as I hoped and some. Held up the batteries plus some with the Caravan drawing 9 Amps. Would like to know how many amps the blanket is producing if that is possible?
Efficient and value for money
Certainly looks like quality. Have not had chance to use it yet. Packs away nicely besides the draw set up in the 200.
Great solar blanket used it a couple of times to charge lithium battery, well worth the money.
It seems very well made haven’t used it yet! Please send me a review request in 2 weeks after I’ve used it!
2 iTech batteries and cloudy days 95 Litre fridge and still got enough juice. For the 12v pump tv phones mmm pretty good stuff.
ITechWorld has ‘Roc’d my World! Since it have discovered there 12v Off-road charging and storage solutions they have been the enabler for me to move independently off the bitumen with confidence with longer and longer off grid power solutions for my vehicle based camping. Excellent products, excellent service from a Western Australian Family company. Outstanding.
A nice compact setup that will be easy to carry around and the inclusion of necessary cables, connectors and controllers make it ready to go. Sadly I live in Melbourne and am in lockdown, but soon I will be able to go bush and take full advantage of solar charging.
Thanks guys Teamed the new 280w with my existing 140 watt through 30 w mppt controller. So can now quick charge my lithium 120 amp during the day when at anchor. To run Engel GPS autopilot and charge phone. Many thanks Russell
Solar panels looked like they are well constructed, bright in color so they won't be left behind while camping. Plugged everything in ,nothing happened. Inspection of connections i found that the supplied extension lead had one end incorrectly wired. I reversed the leads and it fired into life. Ran it all day with no problems.
Recently gave it a run over 10 days camping at Ningaloo. Supported fridge/lights etc very well usually fully recharging 200 kWh battery in few hours. Only problem was hopping spinafex mouse who kept leaving his footprints all over the Pannel each morning. Looking into a support frame. G
It's tough, has rope points to hold down. Own tough carry case. Easy to use. Better then most I have seen.
280 watt solar blanket, so far seems to do the job well. The big test will come up north next month off grid but I'm sure it will be great
More than happy with this solar blanket. Works exceptionally well in full sun and was even impressed to see it still charging on an overcast day. Well worth the investment. Forgot to mention it folds to the size of a laptop and only weighs 8 kg.
worked a treat 220 watts on roof of van, 280 watts in blanket almost double the output of van roof panels due to being able to track the sun. topped our batteries up each day. Exactly what we needed. Folds up and packs away easily recommend buying 10mtr extension cable to get best effect
Works as well as can be in the overcast weather we have at the moment
Obviously haven't had a chance to use it in anger, but hitched it up to the 4b for a test, all good. Going to make x3 lines about 20cm, eye splice at one end and have spring clip at the other to pick up the panel eyelets. That way I can also sling the panel hanging off rack on the side.
Great product, I connected this to my battery box on an overcast day, with my old (5A current draw) Engel fridge connected and drawing current the blanket was able to charge the battery. I can recommend this product to others.
I used 2 sets of Solar Panels to keep Caravan & Tug batteries charged on recent trip to Southern NT. Very happy with this light weight portable system that reduced Generators running time and need to carry extra fuel. The toilet paper on photo is another story as we had a near Total Fire Burnout in the Caravan from a fault n water pump. The Toilet paper is full of Fire Extinguisher Powder. We Dumped it in a Toad Side bin for dome lucky traveller to find and think they have won a lottery in Toilet Paper Stakes. Will find it a bit raspy from Caustic Powder should they raid the bin
Great product - simple to set up and get working. Quality build and well worth the investment to be able to go offered for a few days.
During the tumbarumbA bushfires run my 4 Kva generator to house for 8 hrs a day 16 days , few oil changes, mum still happy, wants to buy another!!
Was here within 5 days this is our 2nd one as someone else loved it as much as we did and stole our 1st one
Spent 7 days in the Warrumbungle National Park running on the blanket, no dramas. Had a freezer, lighting and charging going the whole time. Highly recommended.
Not finished fully testing it yet in the extreme conditions I bought it for, so more later...
I plug it into my Itech300 Portable Power Station and between the two they keep my 60 litre fridge going weather permitting. Most impressed.

I can only say at this time that I am very pleased with what appears the best solar mat around. Why I say that, is that I havn't had the opportunity to actually use it yet. Sorry about that. I purchased this mat because of its high (280) wattage and the lithium profile. I intend to purchase two Itech 120 A/h lithium batteries - one as (Prado) auxiliary and one for the (Coromal) caravan. I also intend to purchase your lithium crank battery (Prado). The total expense for all batteries is just a bit out of my range at the moment as I do want to connect them all at the same time. My current (heavy) lead acid batteries are still working fine at the moment. Get back to you sometime.
Easy to use, store and erect.. couldn't be happier
Very good quality. Well priced and efficient. Thanks guys.
Great item and works a treat. Just spent four days out in the bush and was able to park the 4wd in the shade and still be able to charge the battery.
Only used it for 2 days to try it out kept my 60 ltr engel fridge cold no worries see how it goes up the Kimberleys in August for 7 week or

Great business to deal with, great product
Easy to use and the folded size & weight makes it easy to stow. Love them.
I have solar panels witch are great but they are hard to pack because of there size the solar Blakey is great as it folds up and is easily stored great buy.
Solar blanket is very good output is very good light weight well made product very happy with it
I've been so pleased with my 280 Watt solar blanket that I have recently purchased a second one & yesterday I ran both in tandem at Ellendale Pool
The lithium battery works well but after sales service is terrible I sent 2 emails to the service department 1 was after a phone call to the service department who said to email them I have not had an answering email to either email the first being at least 3 weeks ago the last was 1 week ago. This is not good enough ,I have a number of people waiting for a report on how the Itech lithium battery performs which I have to say is good but the after sales service does not do your battery justice -- which is what I will be telling the people waiting on our advice .
I love this solar blanket! Even under overcast skies the blanket was making enough energy to keep up with my 80ltr fridge over the November long weekend. Easily the second best Itechworld item I've purchased. First goes to the Lithium batteries, an awesome kit!
We needed more power, so I immediately call Itechworld and got them to send up a solar blanket. The difference was awesome. Our fridge had died so we purchased a new Engle fridge freezer and we’re short on power camping remotely in Cape Leveque . It was even pouring in the power in the shade in this photo.
Purchased a few weeks ago and so far have used to charge my vehicle 2nd battery whilst camping. Worked perfectly.
Great service fast delivery, am yet to use it as saving to buy the battery next
Light and compact easy to set up worked realy we would recomend.
Have only used solar blanket a couple of times but it put a heap of charge into car battery while i was at work. Fast delivery , great service. Thanks
Iv'e only used my 280 watt blanket once so far and found it extremely efficient it's like a old car compared to a fine sports car instead. Don't get me wrong my 160 watt solar panels have served me well over the years, but this blanket is lighter and does the job more efficiently. I have recommended these to family and friends.
with 280 watts there is always that bit more power to be gained from the sun, and nobody ever complains about to much power, so bigger is better.
Good gear, well designed a d easy to use
We have been using solar panels for a few years now but they are bulky so switch to the blankets we thought the ones we had we good until we used your 280watt blanket. It is by far the best we have used to date.Very well priced for a top quality product.
Very happy with product and service.
Never used solar before but this panel worked a treat camping at shark bay was matched to a Bain tech gel battery awesome. Thanks
