The iTECHDCDC25 keeps your battery charged no matter the battery type or size.
This all-new 25A DCDC charger incorporates an MPPT solar controller allowing charge from solar panels or blankets. When the vehicle runs, the DCDC charger will charge via the alternator; when the vehicle stops, the iTECHDCDC25 will continue charging via your solar panels/blankets (if added).
Exclusive to iTechworld DCDC chargers is a function known as Solar Power Priority (SPP) which represents the preference for solar input. This allows you to set your 25A DCDC charger to use solar input over the vehicle alternator's input at the push of a button. Solar Power Priority places less load on the alternator, is better for the environment and helps to reduce fuel consumption.

Many vehicles now have smart alternators that do not produce a high enough voltage to charge auxiliary batteries; the iTECHDCDC25 works by enhancing the voltage to the auxiliary battery regardless of the alternator type; the enhancement of voltage is also valuable for overcoming voltage drop from long cable runs to caravans and camper trailers.
A unique feature of the new iTECHDCDC25 is the ability to accept a wide voltage input range from either solar or vehicle input, with the maximum input voltage now being 32v. As our 25A DCDC charger accepts higher input voltages, it opens the door to 24v inputs as well as some larger voltage solar panels commonly found in residential installations.
The new iTECHDCDC25 is compatible with all battery types but comes into its own when paired with iTechworld lithium batteries. All iTechworld lithium batteries have low voltage protection and will enter "safe mode" to protect themselves when their voltage dips below 10v.
There are various methods to bring an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode, but the new iTECHDCDC25 will get an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode automatically; if the lithium battery enters safe mode, turn off any load on the battery and the iTECHDCDC25 will take care of the rest, it's that simple.

SPP allows you to choose to have the 25A DCDC charger use solar power first, even while driving, so your alternator does less work. Use it when you have good sun and want to save fuel and reduce engine load.
Charging from solar cuts engine run‑time, lowers fuel use, and reduces wear on your alternator, plus it keeps you topped up when parked or idling.
It accepts solar input from 10–32V, making it compatible with 12V or 24V panels. When both alternator and solar are present, it charges from whichever you’ve set as priority (whether you're using SPP) and falls back automatically if one source drops out.
Solar inputs must stay between 10V and 32V. Most small to mid‑size caravan panels fit, but residential‑scale panels with open-circuit voltage (Voc) above 32V aren’t supported.
If a LiFePO4 battery goes into "safe mode", simply remove any load, and the 25A DCDC charger will apply the correct “wake‑up” voltage, bringing the battery back online without manual intervention.
The iTECHDCDC25 will still attempt to charge using the selected profile. If that profile doesn’t match your battery chemistry, incorrect voltages may be applied, potentially damaging the battery or creating a fire risk. ALWAYS use the appropriate charging profile.
With an IP67 rating, it’s entirely dust protected and can survive brief immersion, ideal for under‑bonnet, marine, or dusty off‑road conditions.
It works seamlessly in both 12V and 24V vehicles and solar setups, no separate models needed, so you can swap THE 25A DCDC charger between cars, trucks, or solar arrays without hassle.
Mount it upright on a flat surface with good airflow, away from direct water spray. Use the supplied Anderson connectors and a 40A fuse on each positive lead near the battery.
Choose 12V or 24V panels with an open‑circuit voltage (Voc) under 32V and total current under 25A.
It utilises a three-stage MPPT charge profile, comprising bulk, absorption, and float stages, which automatically adjusts voltage and current.
Press and hold the Mode button to cycle through five profiles. The LED flashes confirm the chosen battery type. Pick the matching profile before you connect.
Use a 40A fuse on both alternator and solar input lines, and another 40A fuse on the output to your battery.
By prioritising solar when SPP is enabled, your engine runs less, and the alternator load drops, resulting in lower fuel consumption and reduced engine wear.
Yes. With SPP off, it will use the alternator first, then the solar panel if the alternator voltage falls. With SPP on, it operates in the reverse order—solar first, then the alternator as backup.
It delivers up to 25A. Larger batteries simply take longer to charge at a fixed current.
When the engine is off and solar power is available, it automatically switches to MPPT solar charging, keeping your battery topped up throughout the day without draining your starter battery.
Very little! Just keep the 25A DCDC charger case clean, check the Anderson connections for corrosion, and verify that the fuses are intact. Its IP67 design means it’s built for long-term outdoor use.
If solar voltage drops under 10V, charging pauses. If the engine is running and SPP is off, it then picks up alternator charging. If neither source meets the minimum voltage, the charger remains in standby until voltage returns.
