Redback RB3.5

Portable Inverter Generator

3500W 3.5KVA

The IP54 rating, cooling system, and robust build help combat moisture and heat. Users should store it covered, on a vibration mat, and run it occasionally to avoid stagnation.

Pure Sine Wave output means clean, stable electricity, protecting sensitive gear like laptops, smartphones, and fridges. It ensures consistent voltage and frequency, unlike cheaper modified sine or conventional generators, which can risk damage to your devices.

The RB3.5 offers a 3000W continuous output and 3500W peak, which may handle some caravan air conditioners, mostly smaller units or intermittent duty ones.

To maintain your RB3.5KW generator, use the provided maintenance schedule and logbook, change oil and filters regularly and follow the User Guide’s steps for long-term storage to prevent carburettor and ageing issues.

This is about the sound of a quiet conversation. In quiet camping spots, it's remarkably low, helping to avoid disturbing wildlife or fellow campers.

The brushless design means less wear, fewer moving parts, and better resistance to dust, dirt, and heat. This boosts both reliability and performance in rugged conditions.

No, you cannot parallel two Redback generators.

At just 21.5kg, it's among the lightest in its class, meaning solo campers or mobile workers can easily move it between campsites or job sites.

The user guide advises specific steps and processes to prevent ageing, such as draining or treating fuel, cleaning carburettors, which are essential for extended storage.

The generator’s heavy-duty construction and IP54 rating make it ideal for dusty, wet, or rough terrain, like outback, beachside, and campsite environments.

By using inverter-regulated voltage and frequency, the RB3.5KW generator ensures stable output even when the load varies or in remote areas, which protects connected devices from surges or dips.

With a 3.7 L fuel tank, the RB3.5KW generator delivers over 5 hours of runtime: a strong level of efficiency for its class. Comparable inverter generators generally offer similar ranges, but this is notably more powerful, given its 3kW continuous output.
