CHARGING AND SOLAR

As part of the standard kit, we offer multiple charging solutions:

  • The iTECHBC40 is powered by a 240V source and it is great when you can plug it into a mains power source and let it charge your kit up.
  • Thanks to its dual input solar or alternator capabilities, the iTECHDCDC40 is perfect for charging while you’re on the road or parked up off-grid with some solar panels.
  • To ensure your system is always charged up to capacity, utilising the solar priority function the iTECHBC40 can save fuel and juse use solar power while driving if desired.
  • You can also select the addition of two optional 150W solar panels and mounting brackets.

THE BATTERY

At the heart of this caravan kit are two Bluetooth-compatible iTECH120X PROs designed and developed in Australia. The X Range’s IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating ensures they are made to withstand the Australian climate. Thanks to an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) and new prismatic cell technology, this unit features a 100% usable capacity, unlike old AGM and other lead-acid batteries! That means you can fully use the impressive 120Ah capacity of the iTECH120X PRO. 

OTHER ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS

This kit includes everything you’ll need to get your caravan or 4WD system up and running. That means you’ll also get one of our 2000W inverters (which allows you to convert your 12V power into safe and reliable 240V power) – to monitor and control your new system from anywhere, the kit also comes with bluetooth monitoring, plus a BM500 battery monitor and RC3 remote control for full visibility and monitoring of the system. A thick inverter cable and a suitable fuse are also supplied, so you have peace of mind that your kit is complete.
