The iTECHDCDC40 keeps your battery charged no matter the battery type or size.

The iTECHDCDC40 charger incorporates an MPPT solar controller allowing charge from solar panels or blankets. When the vehicle runs, the DCDC charger will charge via the alternator; when the vehicle stops, the iTECHDCDC40 will continue charging via your solar panels/blankets (if added).

Exclusive to iTechworld DCDC chargers is a function known as Solar Power Priority (SPP) which represents the preference for solar input. This allows you to set your iTECHDCDC40 to use solar input over the vehicle alternator's input at the push of a button. Solar Power Priority places less load on the alternator, is better for the environment and helps to reduce fuel consumption.

Designed and developed in Australia for Australia, the iTECHDCDC40 is IP67 Waterproof, Dustproof and vibration-proof. Built with a heavy-duty metal case uniquely designed to help with heat dispersion, the iTECHDCDC40 is suited and warranted for under-bonnet installation. Mounting brackets are included in the case design, allowing for easy installation in your setup.

Many vehicles now have smart alternators that do not produce a high enough voltage to charge auxiliary batteries; the iTECHDCDC40 works by enhancing the voltage to the auxiliary battery regardless of the alternator type; the enhancement of voltage is also valuable for overcoming voltage drop from long cable runs to caravans and camper trailers.

If your car has a smart alternator, the iTECHDCDC40 has you covered with its easy-to-connect 3-pin Anderson, which allows operation with any alternator.

A unique feature of the new iTECHDCDC40 is the ability to accept a wide voltage input range from either solar or vehicle input, with the maximum input voltage now being 32v. As the iTECHDCDC40 accepts higher input voltages, it opens the door to 24v inputs as well as some larger voltage solar panels commonly found in residential installations.

The new iTECHDCDC40 is compatible with all battery types but comes into its own when paired with iTechworld lithium batteries. All iTechworld lithium batteries have low voltage protection and will enter "safe mode" to protect themselves when their voltage dips below 10v. There are various methods to bring an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode, but the new iTECHDCDC40 will get an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode automatically; if the lithium battery enters safe mode, turn off any load on the battery and the iTECHDCDC40 will take care of the rest, it's that simple.

Heavier 6AWG cable and a 60A midi fuse mean less voltage drop and more protection at full 40A load. The included fuse tap makes ignition wire routing clean and simple no splicing into factory wiring.

The iTECHBM500 Battery Monitor with 500A Shunt

Guessing at battery voltage tells you almost nothing about how much power you've actually got left. The BM500 puts a 500A shunt in the negative line and counts every amp-hour going in and out, so the display shows real state of charge rather than a rough voltage reading.

Real-Time Amp-Hour Counting

The 500A shunt tracks charging and discharging current and calculates the amp-hours flowing in and out of the battery. A separate field-installed sense wire reads voltage directly at the battery, so what you see on screen is what the battery is actually doing — not an estimate taken from somewhere down the circuit.

Accurate to 1%

Voltage and current are both measured to within ±1%. That accuracy is what makes the state-of-charge figure worth trusting when you're deciding whether to run the fridge another night or start the generator.

Works Across the Range

Compatible with lithium, lead-acid and nickel-metal hydride batteries, with a supply voltage range of 10–100V and a capacity range of 10–999Ah. That covers a single 100Ah 12V house battery through to a large 24V or 48V off-grid bank.

Digital LCD Display

Everything on one screen, with adjustable brightness. The monitor itself draws under 2mA with the screen off, under 20mA at 10% brightness and under 60mA at full brightness, so it isn't meaningfully adding to your overnight draw.

Mounting and Installation

The display mounts through a 106 x 81 x 18mm bracket with 95 x 70mm fixing points, and connects to the shunt via the supplied 3m shielded cable so you can put the screen where you'll actually see it. Bracket, screws, shunt holder and sense wire are all in the box. The monitor is rated IP20, so mount it inside the van, canopy or cabin where it's protected from moisture.

The iTECH240XPRO Battery Tray is built to house the iTECH240X PRO securely, whether it's mounted in a canopy setup, a caravan battery bay, or bolted into the back of a 4WD running a larger-capacity battery.

Fitted specifically to the footprint of the iTECH240X PRO, this tray takes the guesswork out of mounting a larger battery. There's no cutting, packing, or improvising a fit — the tray is sized to the battery from the outset, so it sits flush with no rattling or shifting in transit, even with the added weight of a higher-capacity cell.

Constructed from coated steel with a 1.4mm wall thickness, the tray is built to take the daily knocks of off-road tracks, corrugated roads, and general camping and trade use. M8 mounting holes make for a straightforward bolt-down install to your vehicle, canopy, or battery box.

Every iTECH240XPRO Battery Tray ships with a cam-buckle tie-down strap, so the battery is held firmly in place against the tray without needing to source a separate strap. Tension it down, and the battery stays put — no matter how rough the road gets.

This tray is specifically designed to accommodate the iTECH240X PRO Lithium Battery.
