FAQ iTechworld Jump Starters

What jump starter do I need?

JS60 - Up to 7L petrol and 4.5L diesel engines.

JS80 - Up to 10L petrol and 8L diesel engines.

Will an iTechworld jump starter run my 12v fridge?

Yes, an iTechworld jump starter can run most 12V fridges. Some fridges that draw over 10A may not run on an iTechworld jump starter. The iFROST40L is perfect for this, drawing just 0.8A per hour!

JS60: ~3 hours

JS80: ~7 hours

Please note, the run times listed above is a rough and approximate guide, the run time you get may vary depending on the brand of fridge you have, its current consumption, its age, the ambient temperature and various other factors. Although an iTechworld jump starter can run a fridge, it is not its primary function.

Do any of your jump starters have a regulated 12v output?

Yes, the JS80 has regulated 12V output. A regulated 12V output means that the 12V socket will always hold at 12V even as the state of charge of the battery depletes, this ensures a longer run time on 12V appliances such as fridges.

Will an iTechworld jump starter charge my mobile devices?

Yes, all iTechworld jump starters come with USB ports to charge mobile devices. The JS80 supports USBC PD input and output.

Can an iTechworld jump starter bring an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode?

Yes, all iTechworld jump starters can bring an iTechworld lithium battery out of safe mode. Please follow the battery management system instructions HERE.

Do you have a waterproof jump starter?

Yes, the JS80 and JS60 are waterproof to an IP65 rating.

Do any of your jump starters support pass through charging?

Yes, the JS80 is the only jump starter in our range that supports pass through charging. Pass through charger allows you to charge the JS80 via 12V or 240V and at the same time you can run a 12V appliance such as a fridge or charge devices such as mobile phones.

Are your jump starters going to be safe with my vehicles computer?
